The kids, Caroline, and I went on our own adventure while Justin was fishing. We went to Jewel Beach. We had lots of fun searching for jewels (aka sea glass) and digging in the rocks.

Justin's Fishing Adventure
Justin and a few guys from work set out this morning to go halibut fishing. He had quite a day.
Justin's First Halibut- 109 lbs. and 60 in.
The House....
It is hard to believe we have only been in Kodiak 2 weeks and in our house for 11 days. We have everything unpacked and only a few more minor areas to organize. We absolutely love our house!!!

Surfer's Beach
We went on an adventure down to the end of the road....about 50 miles or so.....to Surfer's Beach. Yes, there were actually people surfing. It was a little bit rainy, but Luke had a blast!!! It was beautiful.
Our Journey....
I will have to play catch up for a few weeks. It has been crazy since we got to the island. We drove through 12 states and rode the ferry for a week. We saw some amazing sights....Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, the Inside Passage. Here are a few favorites from our journey.
