Sarah 15 Month Portraits

Since a portrait studio or Aunt Caroline were not handy, I took Sarah's 15 month portraits myself. She was not overly happy being in the woods....she is not the great outdoor adventurer yet. She is growing so quickly. If anyone has specific preferences on size and picture, let me know. I will try to have them printed and mailed next week sometime.

Rainbow Trout

With blue sky at our house, I told Luke we could go fishing. By the time we got to the pond on base, it was raining, but we fished anyway. I have heard they bite better in the rain anyway. We ended up catching two trout and having lots of bites. I took more fish off of hooks today than I ever have in my life. Luke loved watching the bobbers go under and was so excited about the fish. Sarah is terrified of the fish so she cried. Both fish swam away when we released them.

We saw a rainbow on the way home.

Works of Art...

Our hallway was very empty, and artwork is in short supply here in Kodiak. I got the supplies to let my two budding artists create their own masterpieces to hang. The kids had a blast.

Rain Boots for Sarah

Since Sarah is walking much more now and the rain seems to be here to stay, we searched for a tiny pair of rain boots for her. They almost come up to her knees. We went and tested them out at Buskin River for a few minutes. She loves being able to splash in the water by herself.

Go Gators!!!

Even from Alaska, we were able to watch and cheer for our favorite team. Luke tells me he is going to play football. He can run really fast. :)

Thanks for the new gator gear Grandpa and Grandma.
