Sledding....

We braved the almost negative temperatures to test out the kids Christmas sleds. Thank you, Great-Grandma and Harry. I think Justin had as much fun as the kids.

Sarah's Big Girl Bed....

After several months, we finally got all the parts for Sarah's big girl bed. She is very proud of it.

Hint, Hint, Hint: It is a trundle for all those people who are going to come visit us next year.

Christmas Cookies....

We got adventurous this afternoon and started our holiday baking. It looked like a sugar cookie blew up in the kitchen by the time we finished, but everyone had fun!

Winter Wonderland

We have been having lots of snow in the last few weeks. Here is the picture I have been promising some of you.

Decorating the Christmas Tree....

Both of the kids were very excited when we pulled out the Christmas tree. We decorated it this afternoon.

A little cleaning elf visited the house as we were decorating.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I thought it might be fun...or funny to post some of the practice shots too.

Wwweeeee.....Mommy I love to rock in daddy's chair. Sarah is so funny, mommy.

No, Sarah....this is my shamoo. You can't have it.

See, Bubba.....you have a turkey on your shirt. No, Sarah...don't touch me...don't look at my shirt.

Mommy, I am mad because I didn't get my way.

Happy Thanksgiving!

SnOw dAy....

We woke up to a winter wonderland. We got in all of our snow gear and headed out to play. Luke was very reluctant after an hour to come inside. Sarah even had fun helping daddy build a snowman, which somehow turned into a slide for Luke.

If I don't get anything better, here is everyone's Christmas card picture. :)

We tried to fishing in the pond today. It was frozen over so we decided to go to the beach instead. It was cold but nice to get out in the fresh air.

Letter E....F....G

Since, I was running behind a few letters. I just picked some of Luke's best or most favorite work for each letter.

Luke is most proud of his fish story for the letter F. He can tell it all by himself, even though the last page is a little bit exaggerated.

We made Grandma's Apple Cake for the letter G. Luke was very proud that he got to chop the apple slices with his butter knife. Sarah was the official apple tester. I think they all had lots of bits taken out of them by the time I peeled them.
