Hiking Old Woman's

Last weekend, we hiked the mountian behind our house.  Luke walked the whole time, and Sarah got carried most of the time.  I know Justin already posted some of these on facebook.

We officially had to get the snow shovel out today. It has been snowing for weeks and melting in between, but I think the grass is gone until springtime. The kids used their beach toys to play in the snow while I shovelled the driveway.  Can't wait for winter in Miami next year. :)

Fall Festival

Our church hosted its annual Fall festival last night.  There was lots of yummy food and games.  It was lots of FUN!!!!

Salmon Fishing in Pillar Creek

This afternoon, we headed out on a family adventure..... fishing for Silver Salmon.  We hiked down a steep enbankment to pillar creek.  The kids had fun running around, pretending to fish with sticks, and watching their boats (aka leaves) be swept away by the current.  Justin had fun reeling in lots of big silver salmon.  

The fog began to roll in, and with it we had a surprise visitor meander upstream....needless to say all of us decided that he could have the honey hole all to himself.  We reclimbed the very steep enbankment and enjoyed watching him from afar.  It was AWESOME!!!
